The purpose of a conclusion is to accomplish three things:
- Paraphrase your thesis. This should be the first sentence of your conclusion.
- Summarize the main points of your paper. This should be accomplished in about two sentences.
- Arouse your reader’s emotions or inspire your reader to action.
